Friends gathering at The Salida Kountry Kitchen.  We meet the 2nd Saturday of every month at 8:00 a.m. to eat and  chit-chat at this wonderful little restaurant in Salida.  We invite you to join us! 

Singing during worship on March 11, 2018, Pastor James was joined by Kayley Kiernan.  On March 18, 2018, we enjoyed another singing duet with Pastor James and Miles Riley.  What a talented group we have here at FCC!  

We were very grateful to receive a generous amount of canned food donations from the students at Salida Elementary School on March 15, 2018.  We thank Principle Garcia, parent volunteers and the student council for delivering their donations to our church.  These items were placed in our Food Pantry which is available to help all those in need.  Thank you Salida Elementary School!

A representative from "Jews for Jesus" gave a presentation on March 28, 2018, on the connection between Christ and the Passover.

We enjoyed many great opportunities to celebrate March with food!  Our Corn Beef and Cabbage fundraiser was held on St. Patrick's Day and hosted by Dave and Janna Lou Baker.  Thank you to the Bakers and our many wonderful cooks for an amazing meal and great fun! 

On Palm Sunday, March 25, 2018, we enjoyed our annual Hot Cross Bun Bake Sale and Omelet Breakfast fundraiser.  Join us next year on Palm Sunday for wonderful baked goods and a great breakfast.

We're kicking off the new year with an Induction Service for our pastor.  It's been one year since Pastor James and Lu Frost have arrived and things are definitely getting better every day!  There are lots of great activities planned this year and we can't wait to share them with you.

We had a great time at our Church Christmas Party!  A big thank you to Carol Hertle for hosting at her home this year!

The Sanctuary at First Congregational Church of Salida is a beautiful place to come and worship.  We welcome the community to visit!

We ushered in the Christmas season with a ladies tea.  A first at FCC and definitely not the last!  We had a tremendous turnout and thank Lu Frost for bringing this wonderful event to our Church. 

Another successful hall sale was held on Saturday, November 4, 2017.  The community came out to support us and we are truly grateful!  Our hall sale takes place the first Saturday of every November - so don't miss it!

We shared a wonderful meal in our Church Fellowship Hall.  Many thanks to the FCC Outreach Committee for donating the turkeys and organizing this event.
